Wash & Dry

    The best treat you can give your car is a regular, hand, washing. This simple pampering will do more to preserve the life and vitality of your car's finish than the world's most expensive car wax!

    Here's the secret to a spa-quality wash. Wash the wheels and tires first. This prevents splattering brake dust and road oils on clean bodywork. Use a pH-balanced tire and wheel cleaner to prevent etching the wheel's finish. Rinse.

    Now wash the vehicle from the top down. Use a pH-balanced, auto wash shampoo to prevent removing existing wax or sealants NEVER use dishwashing soap or laundry detergents.

    Wash with a natural sea sponge, Microfiber mitt or Microfiber wash pad. NEVER use a man-made, flat-sided sponge. These sponges trap grit between the sponge and the car's finish creating washing swirls. If possible, wash in the shade, out of direct sunlight. Rinse often.

    Here's another secret. Do a final rinse with free-flowing water (nozzle off the hose). If you use our Firehose Nozzle, you can accomplish the same effect by turning the nozzle to its full "on" position. This will sheet 99% of the standing water off the vehicle. Now dry the vehicle with a Microfiber Drying Towel like our Big Blue Towel. You'll be able to dry the entire vehicle in minutes without ever wringing out the towel and you'll never create any drying swirls.
